Meeting of the Higher Committee of the First International Conference of the Department of Psychology and Sociology at the Faculty of Arts – Al-Asabia

The Higher Committee of the First International Conference organized by the Department of Psychology and Sociology at the Faculty of Arts – Al-Asabia, in collaboration with Al-Madar Al-Ma‘rifi Center for Research and Policy Dimensions, held a meeting on Monday morning, July 16, 2024. The meeting was chaired by Prof. Dr. Saleh Ramadan Qashout, President of the University of Gharyan.

The meeting was attended by:

• Prof. Dr. Director of the Research and Consulting Center at the University
• Dr. Dean of the Faculty of Arts – Al-Asabia
• Mr. Secretary-General of the University
• Mr. Director of the University’s Office of International Relations
• Mr. Director of the University’s Publications Office
• Mr. Director of the University’s Procurement Office

During the meeting, the University President reviewed the latest developments in the preparations for the conference. He emphasized the need for serious and continuous efforts and expressed his readiness to provide all necessary resources and support to ensure that this academic event is organized and delivered in a manner befitting the University of Gharyan.

The Vice President for Academic Affairs also affirmed his readiness to provide direct and ongoing support and cooperation in order to achieve the conference’s intended objectives.

The attendees expressed their satisfaction with the progress made in preparing for the conference, particularly with regard to its various themes and the electronic communication mechanisms being used to engage with researchers from both within Libya and abroad.
