Closing of the First Scientific Conference on Olive Oil under the Theme
“Our Olive Oil, Our Wealth”
The sessions of the First Scientific Conference on Olive Oil, held under the theme “Olive Oil: Nutritional Value and Future Prospects” and under the slogan “Our Olive Oil, Our Wealth,” concluded on Monday evening, December 13, 2021.
The conference sessions resumed at 10:00 a.m. and continued until 1:00 p.m., with a break between the two sessions.
At the conclusion of the second session, the participants presented the conference recommendations, expressing hope that decision-makers would take them into consideration and attach greater attention to the olive tree, which represents a major source of income for many farmers in the city.
The conference also included a ceremony honoring the participants, the committees supervising the conference, and the volunteer teams that contributed to its organization.
With the conclusion of this conference, the University’s activities for 2021 came to an end—a year marked by a rich and diverse program of academic and scientific activities.
